Bits & Bobs first started in Halstead nearly 10 years ago. A black and white monthly magazine started by two ladies called Jane and Lesley. They thought to themselves why should we pay the local papers to sell our unwanted items and then…….. the concept of producing a magazine selling unwanted items for free came about with the name of Bits & Bobs, since then they have gone full colour and have launched editions into 60,000 homes in Braintree, Chelmsford, Dunmow, Tiptree and Witham. In 2009 we ( Durney Media Limited ) purchased the franchise for the Dunmow area. Since then we expanded from 4,500 to 14,000 copies per month, they are hand delivered at the beginning of each month by our dedicated distribution team to homes in Barnston, Dunmow, Elsenham, Felsted, Great Easton, High Roding, Little Canfield, Little Dunmow, Little Easton Newport, Oakwood Park, Stansted,Stebbing, Takeley, Thaxted and Saffron Walden.
